Finale Ligure trails, beautiful natural flowy trails
We loved the natural and technical trail ‘Neverland’. It does take some time to navigate, and they are not all connected. Some trails are not maintained well, so we recommend hiring a guide to save lots of time and frustration.
When we did, we were shuttled up to Nato Base by our guide.

Mountains are much smaller than the Alps, but you can get a lot of elevation in one ride and you can bike for very long distances! We loved it here! Also, because you can chill at the beach if you need a change of pace. Finale Ligure is beautiful and not everybody has to go biking. You can also go to the beach or go hiking. There is a lot of Italian culture and amazing food there.
Staying at Finale Ligure
Staying there: Since we did not make reservations, we ended up in one of the next villages, at camping Leo in Spotorno. It is a small family friendly camping at walking distance to the city center and beach. Facilities: fresh drinking water at your spot, restrooms, (free) hot showers, a place to do laundry, dishes, chemical toilet dump, washing machine and a freezer. www.campingleo.it a camping spot for 2 people costs €34 per night and €3 for electricity.
