Norco Revolver FS 120 - Downcountry - "Chameleon"

Upon request of a customer we build this awesome Norco Revolver FS 120 "Downcountry" bike dubbed Chameleon.

Our customer purchased this bike frame at Pinkbike but didn't like the standard colors. Hence the idea for a custom build started.

This bike build has a custom paint job inspired by the Norco Race team graphics for the last olympic games. Also the Norco logos on the frame are not stickers but spray painted so you can see the carbon fiber.

The orange color is sprayed with a sparkle and the green is an iridescent and hence changes based on the sunlight.

On the front you can find a Rockshox SID Ultimate 120mm and SRAM 4 piston guide brake with the new HS2 rotors.

Hand build wheels from NOBL TR35 carbon wheels set (29", 30mm internal width) with Tune hubs.

For tires I resorted to Vittoria Barzo 29/2.25 TNT tires since the 2.35's are still not available. The TNT give you that extra protection against snake bites and reliability.

The drive train consists of a Garbaruk Oval GXP front cog 30T with the new SRAM GX Carbon crankset which is great value for money.

The front cog is protected with a Mozartt carbon bash guard and a custom 3D printed adaptor with matching orange color.

The bike has a Garbaruk 12-speed cassette 10-52T with SRAM AXS electronic shifting and Garbaruk rear derailleur pulleys.

The cockpit is equipped with a one-piece carbon handle bar sourced from an US supplier with orange Garbaruk stem cap and integrated Garmin mount from K-Edge.

SRAM grips and one-loc shock remote to operate front fork which works really awesome.

Conclusion

Overall, this build turned out to be a really capable bike, it is really striking how this bike performs with the 120mm SID on this Norco frame, it feels more capable to it's smaller 100mm sibling. If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to reach via email or whatsapp.
